Will Just Simple Power Bank be able to charge Samsung Galaxy smart watches?

Yes& No. When you buy the Samsung Galaxy smartwatches, you have a charging dock like this (https://images.app.goo.gl/x5iePNFzFsYLHyzf6) from Samsung. It’s a charging dock with a wire cable to the USB A port. You can plug the wire cable into the Just Simple power bank USB A port, the wire cable plug into the watch charging dock, then place smartwatch on the charging dock. Therefore, you can charge Samsung Galaxy smartwatch by using the wire cable plus the charging dock given by Samsung.

How is Just Simple power bank charged?

You can use a USB C cable to charge the power bank itself. It’s just how you would charge a regular electronic device such as a Bluetooth speaker. We will provide a free USB C cable in the package.

Will there be a wall-plug unit included with cable?

We will give a free and regular USB C cable to all backers to charge their power bank in case they don’t have it. Because almost all users already have a wall-plug unit at their home, such as the iPhone wall-plug unit, we felt it would be a waste and bad for the environment to give an additional regular wall-plug unit which ends up in the landfill. You can use your smartphone wall-plug unit along with our USB C cable to charge Just Simple power bank.

How do you avoid over heat?

  1. We keep the top 3 ports on one PCB, another 2 wireless charging ports and built-in cable on another PCB. It reduces the heat inside of Just Simple power bank.

  2. Just in the extreme case of overheat, the power bank itself has a temperature sensor in which will turn off the entire power bank.

  3. From our extensive testings so far, we have not seen an overheating issue yet.

How do you make sure that JSPB will be stable and using the best technology for longevity?

As we mentioned in our product specification, we have over current/voltage/temperature, short circuit protection for safety reasons. Secondly, we already incorporated all the newest and best technology in the market into our power bank, such as QC 4+ & PD 3.0. Thirdly, the PCB components and the battery which we used in our Just Simple power bank are already used by many other well-known brands.

Is May 2020 delivery date too far? Will you be late just like many other Kickstarter campaigns?

In fact, we internally set the March delivery date with our factory and confident to hit it. However, we want to under-promise, and over-deliver. When we come back with a second campaign, we will gain more trust and reputation.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
